This was way back in 2017 when I first thought of starting my career as a Director and so want to test my abilities by directing short films. When I was looking to form a team, the first person my wife suggested is to talk to this guy, Jagan, whom she always rated him as a very talented young editor with lot of knowledge on movies. At first, I thought my wife was kidding but when I jumped into the shoot with this guy, my perception towards him took a u-turn. The moment he got the rushes, believe me, this guy gave me the 1st edited cut within 2 days. The kind of support this guy has given me all through out my debut directorial film is tremendous and cannot be taken off. The movie got released and the 1st feedback that I got from everyone was the feel the movie carried throughout which was eventually because of Jagan With the kind of experience he bought on the table for my 1st film, I went in again with him for my next one which is quiet on the opposite genre as my 1st short film and somewhat with a big budget. But this time, I have included him in all my story discussions so that he could pitch in and add value and meaning to what we would be doing. And as expected, this guy surprised me with the kind of thinking while we were editing the film. Fortunately, we got a chance to screen this film in Prasads and the applause that Jagan received is something to cheer for this guy Looking forward to work with him again for my upcoming film
